Refreshed? What's it all about?

Refreshed is about making a space where the communities of Swain House, Bolton Woods and Wrose can get together. The charity shop provides a much needed service to the local community - a place to be and a place to share together.

The driving force behind Refreshed is Bolton Villas URC. This well established church has been on the site on the corner of Livingstone Road and Wrose Road for over a century and is looking to place itself as the hub of the community, allowing its building to become a community space with a spiritual heart.

Can I help? Donations and Volunteering?

A charity shop in the local community doesn't run itself! It needs people just like you to make it work - so what can you do?

Well first, we need you to donate clothing or other things you don't use ~ what about that unused Christmas present? We have people already on stand-by to drop round and collect things from you if necessary - so you don't even have to leave the house!

Secondly, if you are fit and able, and have some time on your hands we'd love you to get involved in helping run the shop. There are lots of jobs that need to be done and by offering some time each week you can become part of the team that makes the shop happen. You will need to complete a short application form and if accepted go through some basic training but its not difficult. Just get in touch by email or via the address below.
