Welcome to Bolton Villas Church

Bolton Villas is a friendly, welcoming Christian church, seeking to serve the people who live, work, study, visit or worship in Wrose, Swain House and the surrounding area. Bolton Villas seeks to be a community space with a spiritual heart.

If you are looking for somewhere to hold a community event - then this is the place.

If you are looking to find out about the Christian faith - then this is the place.

Please get in touch with any questions you have - phone, email, letter or just drop in - we're around most of the time.

Sunday Worship

As a Church we hold regular services of worship on a Sunday morning starting at 10.30am and it is open to everyone.

The children have their own activities during part of the service on most Sundays, except the 3rd Sunday of the month, when all ages stay together for an 'All Age Worship' service.

Our worship time is very relaxed, varied and informal, but always Bible-based.  If you think of churches as quiet places where everyone seems to be hiding from God behind a pew, try us, you'll be surprised!

We'd love to see you and give you and your family a warm welcome. Why not this Sunday? - set the alarm clock a bit earlier, and come out for a bit of spiritual refreshment.

Activities

There are plenty of activities going on right through the week.  The Refreshed Cafe and Charity/Fair Trade Shop is open from Mon ~ Sat from 11am to 4pm.  There is a toddler group called Adam and Eve's which meet twice a week, early evening clubs on Wednesday and Thursday's for youngsters, explorer scouts as well as a monthly get together for seniors.  Check out the activities or the calendar for more information.

The venue is also available for rent, both on a regular and a one-off basis - please check here for more information.

If you can't find the information you need, then please just ask!  You can get in touch by email via the contact page, by using the phone 01274 449606, or just drop in to have a chat - we're often around.

The Story behind the face

Churches are not primarily about buildings - they are about people.

Bolton Villas Church is made up of people from many walks of life, with lots of different life experiences.  They have good times, bad times and indifferent times - in fact, they're just like you!   Each one of them has a story, a unique story, and some of them have written their story here so you can get to know them a little better.

Whilst each story is unique, they all have a common thread.  They all have concluded that life has a spiritual dimension, that the God is interested in them, loves them with all their faults, and wants them to follow Him to the best of their ability.  Read on to find out more.
