Official Opening
It was standing room only at the Opening Celebration on the 23rd January. The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor John D. Godward and the Lady Mayoress were in attendance, as were the moderator of the United Reformed Church in yorkshire - Revd. Kevin Watson and Revd. Ashley Evans who was the former pastoral team leader at Bolton Villas. Following the celebration, a buffet lunch was served, and during the afternoon the Refreshed Cafe and Charity shop were open along with the main hall for games. It really was a day of celebration, and a day when the rest of the Journey of Bolton Villas United Reformed Church started ... seeking to be a Community Space with a Spiritual Heart.

Donations and Grants
Thousands of pounds have been raised for the Hub Project through individual donations on an ad-hoc, but also on a regular basis. We have also had significant advice and support from the Yorkshire Synod of the United Reformed Church and grants from a number of trusts. Major grants have been received from WREN and Veolia which have made various elements of the overall scheme possible. We also acknowledge the sponsorship of Rural Action Yorkshire who have provided us with funding from Defra's Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund. We also acknowledge support and funding from Shipley Area Committee.
