Well after many weeks of work, the building has been inspected, passed as safe and officially handed over to us. Over the next couple of weeks the builders will continue to work on the snag list and we will start the process of moving back into the building. The intention is to open the building for public use on Monday 2nd November. The formal opening will be in January next year. A BIG thank you needs to go to all involved in the process, far too many people to mention - but THANK YOU to you all. To give you a final idea of what the finish is like, below is a picture of the foyer, toilets and new entrance from the cafe space.

Donations and Grants
Thousands of pounds have been raised for the Hub Project through individual donations on an ad-hoc, but also on a regular basis. We have also had significant advice and support from the Yorkshire Synod of the United Reformed Church and grants from a number of trusts. Major grants have been received from WREN and Veolia which have made various elements of the overall scheme possible. We also acknowledge the sponsorship of Rural Action Yorkshire who have provided us with funding from Defra's Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund. We also acknowledge support and funding from Shipley Area Committee.
