The shape of things to come

This picture shows the outer shape of the new quiet room within the main flexible space.  The skeleton of this area is in place and we can start to see how it will look in the final scheme of things - imagine the plasterboard and plaster in place, and a ceiling above you from this sort of camera angle.

From the inside to the outside, we can now see the footings for the new section where the foyer and toilet area will be.  Once this is all in place, the old hut will be demolished to provide the space for the car park.

Donations and Grants

Thousands of pounds have been raised for the Hub Project through individual donations on an ad-hoc, but also on a regular basis.  We have also had significant advice and support from the Yorkshire Synod of the United Reformed Church and grants from a number of trusts.  Major grants have been received from WREN and Veolia which have made various elements of the overall scheme possible. We also acknowledge the sponsorship of Rural Action Yorkshire who have provided us with funding from Defra's Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund.  We also acknowledge support and funding from Shipley Area Committee.
